For the first time in more than a decade, TarGanGil Ski Lodge is inviting new members to join our club following the renewal of our lease with Charlotte Pass Village until 2058.
Member’s benefits include:
- 20% discount on published accommodation rates
- Priority booking period (including school holidays)
- Discounted accommodation for a family including dependent children (up to the age of 21).
- Discounted membership for member’s dependents at 21 years of age.
$10M Resort Upgrade:
TarGanGil members will also benefit from the new $10M resort upgrade announced by Charlotte Pass Resort.
Highlights include:
- Plans for 2 new ski lifts
- Terrain expansion
- Increased snowmaking
- Expanded over-snow fleet
Costs of membership
For a limited time, we are offering a new member package. For priority advance bookings, discounted members’ accommodation rates for a family of four* and use of the Lodge and its facilities for the duration of the 40 year lease, successful applicants are being offered a special new member’s deal: $4000 joining fee plus $6000 over three years.
Here's a breakdown:
- $4000 ($1000 for shareholding per member plus $3000 one-off joining fee)
- $6000 capital works levy payable over the first three years of membership
Members pay an annual subscription fee of $200 (rebatable against accommodation for that year) plus $200 towards the club’s capital sinking fund. These fees are not applied to members in their first year of membership.

Our Club
TarGanGil has developed a reputation for its hearty food, warm hospitality and close proximity to the mountain.
Located in the idyllic snowbound village of Charlotte Pass, Australia’s highest resort, we offer a genuine ski-in, ski-out experience just 20 metres from the Kangaroo Ridge Chairlift.
Since opening in the late 1970s, the club has been serving members, their families and extending a warm welcome to new guests.
Accommodation
TarGanGil Ski Lodge welcomes up to 22 guests every week.
The Lodge and our resident managers cater for families, couples and singles with a mix of fully heated twin, double and family rooms. Linen is provided, and all rooms feature ensuites.
Guests enjoy relaxing by the gas log fire in our first-floor lounge room that offers panoramic mountain views. A selection of games and DVDs are also available for guests’ enjoyment.
Fully Catered
TarGanGil is a fully catered lodge with a well-earned reputation for fine food and hearty fare. Winter tariffs include cooked breakfast, lunch, and three-course gourmet meals each evening. We are also famous for our BBQs on the slope side deck.
Club Details
TarGanGil is operated by the O.A.L. Staff Co-Operative Ltd, a members’ co-operative governed by the Co-Operatives National Law. Our purpose is to facilitate and develop alpine activities for our members.
